Product description
Banana Puree is obtained from select, Cavendish variety banana ripened under controlled conditions.
The preparation process includes peeling, mashing the ripe fruit, deseeding,
deaerating, concentrating under vacuum ( for concentates) and homogenising. In case of aseptic packing the puree is sterilised and packed in presterilised bags. For freezing, the puree is filledin trays and deep frozen in plate freezer at -40 degree centigrade. The puree is also canned in A-10 size cans hermetically sealed and retorted. No additives except vitamin C is added, so the natural flavours are retained.
Usage Banana Puree/Concentrate is used in the preparation of baby
foods, ice-creams yoghurt and confectionery. The product is also used in combination with other fruit pulp for the constitution of drinks, nectar, juices and various other kinds of beverages.
