MANGO PULP/CONCENTRATE


Product Description

Mango Pulp/Concentrate is made from select Totapuri, Raspuri and Kesar variety mangoes, ripened under controlled conditions.

The preparation process includes cutting, destoning, refining and packing. In case of aseptic product the pulp is sterilised and packed in presterilised aseptic bags. The refined pulp is also packed in cans, hermetically sealed and retorted. Frozen pulp is pasteurised and deep frozen in plate freezers.

The process ensures that natural flavour and aroma of the fruit is maintained in the final product.

Usage
Mango Pulp/Concentrate may be used for reconstitution of nectar, drinks juices and various other kinds of beverages.

In addition it can be used in preparing ice-creams, yoghurt and confectionery.

Microbiological Status
All Mango pulp/concentrate are free from any pathogenic bacteria. Aseptic and canned product are commercially sterile.

Packaging
Aseptic Mango Pulp/Concentrate is packed aseptically in presterilised bags of 55 gallon capacity in open top steel drums. Aseptic packing in 20 kg bag in 5 ply cartons can also be provided with prior agreement.

Canned product is packed in A-10 size can and hermetically sealed and retorted. Six cans are packed in 5 ply cartons provided with separators.

Frozen pulp is packed in food grade polythene bags of 5 kg. Four bags are packed in staple-less self locking cartons and shrink wrapped.

Storage Recommendation
Aseptic Totapuri Mango puree/Concentrate, Raspuri Mango pulp and Kesar Mango pulp should be stored at temperature less than 10 degree Centigrade. Higher temperature and sunlight should be avoided to enhance shelf life.

Frozen product should always be stored at temperature less than -20 degree Centigrade.
